She also authored numerous articles on family law related issues and has submitted Advisory Opinions to the Japanese courts on issues of divorce and child custody.
Ms. Yamatani is fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the Japanese language. As such, she becomes a valuable addition to the firm's Asian Languages Practice Group which represents Korean and Filipino clients as well as Japanese, all in their native languages. Ms. Yamatani's practice with CFTG concentrates on Family Law litigation including divorce, child custody and support, post-decree enforcement, and domestic violence/TRO - with a special focus on international issues including immigration, U.N. treaties governing child custody, etc. She is also head of CFTG's Asian Languages Practice Group.
