Vincent G. Raboteau is an invaluable addition to our firm and is head of our firm’s Military Divorce Division. At Coates Frey Tanimoto & Gibson, AAL LLLC, Vince concentrates on family law litigation including divorce, child custody and support, post-decree enforcement, and paternity matters.
Before practicing law, Vince served in the Air Force and in the Hawai‘i Air National Guard as an aircraft mechanic on F-15 fighter jets. After graduating from U.H. Mānoa, Vince went on to attend the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he interned with various non-profits focusing on environmental justice and equity for low-income communities.
Before practicing law in Hawai‘i, Vince was a member of the Washington State Bar, where he practiced subrogation law with a national firm specializing in construction defect and products liability. Upon moving back home to Oahu, Vince practiced real estate litigation in contested foreclosure matters.
Prior to joining Coates Frey Tanimoto & Gibson, AAL LLLC, Vince worked at Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation, where he represented clients in Native Hawaiian rights law issues such as property boundary disputes, land title, burial site preservation, and historical native land claims.
